Rejuvenate a hard wood garden furniture set with teak oil

01/09/2010 Applying teak oil is a great way to breathe a new lease of life into your hard wood garden furniture set, according to one blog.

Chic Teak said that the best weapon in your gardening arsenal for keeping a teak garden furniture set in good condition is a soft rag.

"Teak oil is great to rejuvenate your teak garden furniture easily. Apply with a rag or conventional paintbrush every so often to liven up your garden set," it suggested.

A soft rag can also be used to "gently wipe away stains" on teak furniture. The high oil content in teak means that it can withstand the elements and be kept in an outdoor space all year round.

Tallahassee Home and Garden also suggested recently that people should carry out "seasonal maintenance" on teak hard wood garden furniture sets.

The blog explained that the wood has "natural anti-weathering properties" which make it the ideal material for outdoor tables and chairs.  ADNFCR-3488-ID-800047645-ADNFCR
