Pair BBQ food with the perfect wine

According to Beefgrassfed.co.uk, Zinfandel is a versatile wine that can be paired with BBQ beef, grilled chicken or roast chicken.

White Zinfandel, which is pale pink in colour, pairs well with chicken, pork or seafood.

Rich roasted meats are best paired with Cabernet Sauvignon which has flavours ranging from blackcurrant, cherry, plum, mint and spice.

Thisislondon.co.uk recently produced a round-up of some of the best wines to wash down BBQ food with.

Included in the list were Mont Gras Carmenere, Turkey Flat Butcher's Block Red, Harrods Cotes du Rhone and Gerard Bertrand Syrah.
