The Flagstone Patio blog explained that with options ranging from sleek, modern aluminium garden furniture, to classic, Victorian-style cast iron benches, there is a metal garden furniture set to suit any outdoor space.
Once you've chosen the right metal garden furniture set, make sure you keep it looking in top condition by regularly checking for rust, it suggested.
The blog advised, during the winter months, that people "move it into the garage when the weather gets colder for protection".
Another top tip, as recently recommended by the Hindustan Times, is to use a solution of water and vinegar and wipe down the table and chairs with a soft cloth.
It recommended avoiding any harsh or abrasive cleaning products as this could damage the finish of the aluminium garden furniture set.
Applying "a couple of thin coats of car wax on all the exposed areas" to add extra protection was also recommended.
